Megan McIntyre, a Certified Physician Assistant, was born in St. Maries, Idaho, and raised in Boise. She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in New Mexico and has been practicing Family Medicine since 2009. Her first eight years of practice were spent serving low-income patients at Community Health Centers in the state of Washington which helped solidify her passion for the Family Medicine specialty and a broad range of patients she is able to care for.
Megan is excited to see patients of all ages and manage acute and chronic conditions. She regularly provides services for women's health, behavioral health, dermatology, physical exams, and transgender care. Megan puts an emphasis on preventive health through collaborative health management with the patient; this includes clear communication and thorough education on conditions and treatment options. She also encourages daily activity, especially outdoors, for any ailment! When not building relationships with patients, Megan is usually outdoors running or biking, at the pool swimming, or going on adventures with her husband and son!
